And (remember) Once your Lord mentioned to your angels: “Verily, I am going to place within the earth a vicegerent (Caliph)”, they claimed: “Will you place therein individuals that will make mischief therein and shed blood and we glorify you with praises and sanctify You”? He said: “Absolutely I determine what you have no idea”. (thirty)
90. How poor is that for which they have got offered their ownselves, that they must disbelieve in that which Allah has uncovered (the Qur'an), grudging that Allah should really reveal of His Grace unto whom He'll of His slaves.
two:136 قُولُوا آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَا أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ Say, [O believers], "We have now thought in Allah and what has become revealed to us and what has long been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob along with the Descendants and what was offered to Moses and Jesus and what was presented surah e baqra towards the prophets from their Lord. We make no difference between any of them, and we've been Muslims [in submission] to Him."
Allah explained to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life. And Allah is full of bounty to the individuals, but a lot of the men and women tend not to clearly show gratitude.
